Our story
In 2025, Raymond's mother sat him down. She runs a healthcare practice. Forms, payer rules, SOPs that never stopped changing. The compliance work had grown to consume more of her day than her patients did.
Raymond was working in AI. She asked if he could help.
That question became the basis of Tahoma AI. He spent six months stress-testing solutions — starting with her colleagues and former staff, then expanding to over 100 more providers with no connection to her practice. The finding held across every conversation: billing complexity was outpacing headcount, and the providers best equipped to serve patients were spending their hours on administrative work instead.
Gerard Dass joined Tahoma as an advisor in January 2026. Before that, he led healthcare technology at the largest scale: Chief Information Officer at UnitedHealth Group, Microsoft Azure Health Executive, and Amazon Web Services Healthcare Enterprise Strategist. He now runs Tahoma's operations full-time as Chief Operating Officer.
Together, Raymond and Gerard apply the enterprise health system experience that drove digital transformation across major health systems to the revenue cycle layer that slows every practice down.
Today, Tahoma processes over 10,000 monthly executions touching claims, denials, and more at some of the largest healthcare organizations in the United States.
